Aqua: We exclusively use water from the ‘Adelboden’ mineral springs. It’s one of the
highest springs in Europe, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Our mineral water springs up
far away from any environmental influences after a journey of several years through the
rock layers of the untouched mountain world of the Swiss-Alps.
Alcohol: We use exclusively plant derived organic alcohol. We use alcohol as an
extraction agent in the Artemisia Annua Extract.
Special use of alcohol in tonic and serum applications:
The name tonic comes from the term 'toning' and means increasing the tension of
muscles, nerves and blood vessels. And that is exactly what we achieve with the 72k
Tonic.
Alcohol opens up cell connections and penetrates the skin barrier. This improves the
skin's absorption capacity. This makes it easier for subsequent ingredients from
creams and serums to penetrate the skin and develop their full effect.
The positive property of alcohol is always used in combination with soothing and
nourishing active ingredients, especially in toners. After toning, less subsequent care
is required due to the improved absorption capacity.
Glycerin: Our Glycerine is plant derived and of organic quality. Glycerine is a humectant
for creams and lotions. It conveys a pleasant, soft skin feeling. We use Glycerine also as
an extraction agent in our Artemisia Annua Extract.
Pentylene Glycol: Pentylene Glycol is the ideal multifunctional ingredient that boosts
the performance of active ingredients, moisturizes the skin, improves the sensorial profile
of formulas and enhances product protection. Pentylene glycol natural is a polyvalent
alcohol and has to bind therefore the quality water. This quality can be used to supply
humidity to the skin. The skin is better soaked, looks clearly beaming and feels better.

Artemisia Vulgaris Extract: is rich in antioxidants, which can help to protect the skin
from damage caused by free radicals. Additionally, mugwort contains a compound called
artemisinin, which has been shown to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
properties. Sometimes the combination of Artemisia Annua and Artemisia Vulgaris is
synergistic and of great use.
Leontopodium Alpinum Flower/Leaf Extract: This plant extract contains lignans, one
of the constituents that have a natural skin-calming benefit. Edelweiss also contains a
compound known as leontopodic acid, which research has shown strengthens skin's
barrier and helps reduce signs of sensitivity.
Cetraria Islandica Extract: It's a so-called demulcent, an agent that forms a soothing
and moisturizing film over the face and relieves dryness and irritation.
Bambusa Vulgaris Leaf Extract: Limiting skin aging by neutralizing free radicals. The
antioxidant activity of bamboo extract is due to the presence of flavones that fight
against oxidative stress. Furthermore it absorbs sebum to mattify oily skin and alleviate
irritations and redness’s.
Coco-Glucoside: An all-round surfactant with proven mildness. Coco Glucoside is a non-
ionic surfactant made from 100% renewable, plant-based raw materials and is RSPO-MB
certified. It has a premium environmental and skin compatibility profile and creates a
perfect synergy of mildness, foaming performance and effective cleansing. Coco
Glucoside is very gentle on skin. It improves the skin compatibility of conventional
surfactant systems and convinces with excellent foaming behaviour, also in combination
with other surfactants. It is particularly suitable for sensitive skin.
Tonic application: surface tension breaking for smooth spraying.
Lactic Acid: pH regulation. Lactic acid is an acidifier with moisturising, exfoliation and
antibacterial properties. This natural L-lactic acid is produced from sugar by fermentation.
